Anhvuwedding is a Vietnam based photography house for destination weddings, founded by Anthorny with a belief that wedding photographs should carry more than beauty. They should hold the character of a place, the relationships surrounding a couple, and the cultural details that make each celebration belong to its people.
For us, weddings are more than celebrations. They are stories of connection, family, memory and change. Every gesture, glance and quiet moment becomes part of something larger, a record of how a wedding truly felt and of the people who made it meaningful.
Our work moves between editorial direction and documentary observation. We create photographs that feel considered without losing spontaneity, and cinematic without becoming detached from real life. Through light, composition, movement and a combination of digital and film, we look for images that are refined in form while remaining honest in emotion.
Rooted in Vietnam, our perspective has been shaped by more than a decade of photographing its landscapes, celebrations and family traditions. From the coastline of Da Nang and the heritage streets of Hoi An to the mountains of Sapa and destinations beyond, place is never simply a backdrop. It becomes part of the story itself.

Our intention has never been to create perfect images for the sake of perfection, but to make photographs that preserve something real: the atmosphere of a place, the intimacy between people, and the fleeting moments that one day become part of a family's history.

We begin by observing rather than imposing. Every celebration has its own pace, personalities and visual language, and our role is to understand that rhythm before deciding when to step in and when to simply let a moment unfold.
Our photography is built around contrast: composed portraits alongside unplanned encounters, quiet frames beside energetic ones, natural light balanced with intentional flash, and the tactile character of 35mm film alongside the precision and flexibility of digital photography. These elements are not treated as separate styles, but as tools used to give each story range, texture and visual coherence.
Direction is kept purposeful and understated. When guidance is needed, we focus on creating the conditions for something natural to happen rather than controlling every gesture. This allows portraits to retain a sense of ease while still carrying the structure and refinement of an editorial image.
During the less predictable parts of a wedding, our approach becomes instinctive. We anticipate rather than interrupt, paying attention to changes in energy, unexpected interactions and details that may only exist for a few seconds. Some of the most meaningful photographs often come from moments that were never part of the schedule.
The same consideration continues into the editing process. Color, sequence, pacing and the relationship between individual photographs are shaped as carefully as the frames themselves. We want the finished gallery to feel like one complete visual narrative, with room for stillness, movement, atmosphere and surprise.
Ultimately, our approach is less about following a fixed aesthetic and more about responding thoughtfully to what is in front of us. Each wedding asks for something different, and the photography should have enough sensitivity and flexibility to reflect that.
